Stefanie Garibyan is an associate at Leason Ellis, where she focuses her practice on complex intellectual property litigation, often involving patents and trademarks, and related appeals in federal court. She also has experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, where she drafted successful petitions for inter partes review. Her practice spans various industries and has involved consumer, automobile, software, and chemical technologies. Stefanie practices intellectual property law because she loves crafting arguments that contribute to precedent-setting decisions that help the law adapt to cutting-edge technologies. In 2021, Stefanie was recognized by Best Lawyers on their list of “Ones to Watch.” Stefanie’s proudest professional moment was her in-depth participation in, and substantive contribution to, the landmark Supreme Court decision in TC Heartland v. Kraft. Stefanie received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.S. in bioengineering from SUNY Binghamton.
