LE attorneys defended Lineau Sales and Marketing in a case filed by CDC, after ten of CDC’s product listings were taken down off the Amazon.com webstore, seeking claims against defendants for: (1) defamation; (2) tortious interference with prospective business relations; (3) a declaratory judgment of non-infringement; and (4) common law unfair competition.  We moved to dismiss the Complaint against CDC, and the district court granted the motion as to Lineau, in its entirety.  CDC filed an amended complaint, and after ensuing motion practice, the case was settled and dismissed.
