Overview
Dr. Susie Cheng served as a moderator and panelist at CSSPENA’s Annual “Vision & Innovation” forum at NYU on August 2, 2014. She served on a panel discussing technology innovation and entrepreneurship. Other panelists include Professor Zhixiong Chen at Mercy College, Mr. Harry Edelson from Edelson Technology Partners, Dr. Hyuk-Jeen Suh at Samsung Venture and Mr Jerry Castanos from 3D Heights. The panel addressed current high tech innovations including 3D printing as applied in electronic device and tissue culture scaffolding, biometric authentication of mobile devices, genomic testing, data mining for diagnosis of diseases, security and privacy engineering. The panel also provided insight into the characteristics of the best start-ups and how to ensure a healthy economic ecosystem in China to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. See
