Ralph J. Crispino

Partner

Ralph Crispino is a partner in the Patent Practice Group at Leason Ellis. Ralph works with international companies, individuals and start-ups to develop their U.S. and international patent portfolios, including preparation of applications and all aspects of patent prosecution. He has assisted clients in various technological areas including electrochemical cells and components, chemical and pharmaceutical compositions and syntheses, mechanical devices, various consumer products, and several aspects of the oil and gas industry (e.g., catalyst synthesis, petrochemicals, clean fuels, advanced analysis of oil, and process controls).

In addition, Ralph counsels clients in the preparation and negotiation of agreements including technology license agreements and related IP agreement.

A strong interest in math and science at an early age led to his studies in chemical engineering while managing and working in a family construction business. The exposure to a breadth of scientific and engineering disciplines guided him to the field of patents and patent law, where Ralph has remained throughout his legal career. The practical experience in the construction industry helps guide common sense solutions to complex problems.

Ralph holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College, graduating magna cum laude. He received his J.D. from Pace University School of Law, cum laude.
