David Leason and Melvin Garner to Speak at WESFACCA Patent Law Program

On November 5th, David Leason and Melvin Garner will be panelists for a program entitled "PATENT LAW 2011: EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES & TECHNIQUES TO MAXIMIZE THE VALUE OF COMPANY INNOVATION and COMBAT PATENT INFRINGEMENT ASSERTIONS" offered by Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (WESFACCA). The program, which will cover a variety of patent law issues and will also include panelists from IBM Corporation, MasterCard Worldwide and Xerox Corporation, will be held at Nokia, Inc. in White Plains. David's program will concentrate on reexamination proceedings and how to utilize reexamination as part of a company's patent strategy. Mel's presentation will focus on tips and techniques to create a strong patent portfolio.
