Sara E. Gruber

Associate

Sara is an associate in the Litigation and Trademark & Copyright Practice Groups at Leason Ellis where she focuses on conflict and dispute resolution. Her most recent litigation cases concern the unauthorized use of copyrighted materials in the music industry. Sara also has experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she has filed hundreds of applications and responded to numerous office actions.

Sara is an inventive individual who has seen firsthand the reach and impact of intellectual property throughout her life, specifically in the technology and media industries. Sara believes strongly that protection of a client’s rights is vital to the cultivation of innovation and creativity.

Sara received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and her Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University with academic honors. She majored in Criminology with a focus in Legal Studies, and minored in Business. Before joining Leason Ellis, Sara worked in the intellectual property industry as an intern focusing on trademark and copyright law in New York.
