Joshua Montgomery’s practice focuses on patent procurement, portfolio management, and client counseling on patent-related matters.  Josh also has experience with the various phases of intellectual property litigation.  Josh has worked with a broad array of technologies, including semiconductor design and fabrication, hardware and software, mechanical and medical devices, machine learning and artificial intelligence, smartphone applications, and network architecture.

Josh is passionate about science, technology, and innovation.  Josh has helped a diverse range of technology companies protect and monetize their intellectual property.  Prior to joining Leason Ellis, Josh was an associate at an intellectual property boutique firm in San Francisco.  Before that, he was an intellectual property associate at a multinational general practice firm.
