Leason Ellis Japanese Patent Group Expands

We are pleased to welcome Tomoko Yasukawa to the firm. Tomoko was born in Japan. She received a B.A. in English Literature from Jyochi University in Tokyo and then attended Babel Inc., where she received a certificate in Japanese/English General Translation. Tomoko later received an M.S. in Publishing from Pace University in New York. For the past three years, Tomoko worked for the intellectual property boutique of Darby & Darby as a Translator and Legal Support Assistant. At Darby, she acted as a liaison between Japanese clients and American attorneys, and she translated technical documents relating to patents and trademarks.
