Leason Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Karin Segall will be joining the firm as a Partner in the firm’s Trademark and Copyright Practice Group. Ms. Segall, is an experienced trademark lawyer, whose practice encompasses all aspects related to the protection and enforcement of domestic and international trademark rights. She has a broad range of experience in a wide variety of industries including financial, telecommunications, consumer products, publishing, luxury goods, and pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Segall’s practice focuses on counseling clients, prosecuting domestic and international trademark applications, handling enforcement programs, negotiating licenses, and representing client in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Ms. Segall will be coming to Leason Ellis from Foley & Lardner LP in New York City. Previously, Ms. Segall was a Partner at the intellectual property boutique firm of Darby & Darby, where she worked for ten years.
Ms. Segall is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of intellectual property topics. She has presented at the Practicing Law Institute, the ABA Annual Meeting, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the International Trademark Association on a variety of trademark-related topics. Ms. Segall is also a regular contributor to World Trademark Report.
With the addition of Ms. Segall, Leason Ellis will continues building its intellectual property practice.
