PAUL ZAGAR ATTENDS S.U.N.Y. DOWNSTATE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE CLASS OF ’89 REUNION

An informal annual dinner Dr. Paul Zagar had with three of his S.U.N.Y. Downstate College of Medicine Class of ’89 friends has grown over years so that it is now being referred to as a reunion in the alumni newsletter. The latest iteration, on April 26th, included doctors specializing in cardiology, pain management, internal medicine, gastroenterology, anesthesia, orthopedics, OB-GYN and general surgery who traveled from various parts of the United States to attend the event. After attending the College of Medicine and practicing as a general and vascular surgeon, Dr. Zagar expanded his horizons by going to William & Mary Law School. Dr. Zagar has been practicing law as a patent attorney (specializing in pharmaceutical and chemical arts, biologics, biotechnology, medical devices, disposable health care products, and foods) for 16 years. He is admitted to the NY Bar, a registered practitioner in the USPTO, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
