This afternoon, the AIPLA will be hosting a Rapid Response webinar on the Supreme Court’s decision in Andy Warhol Foundation v. Goldsmith. The panel will include Thomas Hentoff, counsel for Goldsmith, Nick Bartelt, counsel for the Copyright Office, Christine Farley, who joined the Art Law Professors amicus brief, and our own Lauren Emerson, counsel for AIPLA's amicus brief. The panel will be moderated by Nancy Mertzel, a member of AIPLA’s amicus committee. The panel will provide an overview of the decision, the positions of the parties, and thoughts on the implications of the Supreme Court’s decision and what it may mean for attorneys and their clients.
