CONTINUING APPLICATION AS A PATENT STRATEGY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL INVENTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES

The United States is unique in having an extensive continuing patent application practice. Many international applicants are not familiar with the U.S. continuing application practice and therefore have not taken advantage of filing continuing applications. The article, written in Chinese, introduces the continuing patent application practice in the United States, and how it may be employed in building a patent portfolio of related inventions.
