Erica advises clients on a broad range of trademark, copyright and advertising matters, helping them secure and enforce their valuable intellectual property rights, both in the United States and abroad. She counsels clients in a diverse set of industries, including fashion, personal care goods, financial services, food and beverage, art and entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and software.
Erica guides clients through the lifecycle of brand management: identifying, clearing and securing protection for intellectual property assets, as well as developing and implementing a global brand strategy for the continued management, expansion, protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. Erica also offers experience in other intellectual property matters, such as pharmaceuticals, transfers and assignments, coexistence agreements, and sweepstakes and contests. Additionally, Erica helps clients navigate Internet-related legal issues, including social media and domain name disputes, and purchase of domain names.
Erica received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University, where she majored in Economic History. Before joining Leason Ellis, Erica worked in the intellectual property industry as an associate focusing on trademark and copyright law in New York.
