Emily A. Rice

Emily Rice is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, where she focuses on assisting clients through the various phases of intellectual property litigation, including discovery and motion practice. Emily also has experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she has filed dozens of trademark applications and responded to office actions. To Emily, practicing intellectual property law is the perfect intersection of the scientific and creative sides of her brain.

Emily has prior experience assisting clients in antitrust, securities, and other commercial litigation matters. She also served as a law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey for the Honorable Douglas E. Arpert, U.S.M.J.

Emily earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law, where she served as Student Coordinator of the Intellectual Property Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. She received her B.S.A. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.
