AMERICA INVENTS ACT BOOT CAMP – HOW TO APPLY THE NEW LAW

Susie Cheng and Elizabeth Barnhard, attorneys from Leason Ellis, presented an interactive workshop on the America Invents Act for the Women in Licensing Group on September 25, 2013, held at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Participants from various companies, institutions and law firms teamed up to solve theoretical problems involving applications of the new and old 35 U.S.C. Sec. 102 and methods to challenge validity under the new law, with Susie and Elizabeth leading and sharing solutions to the problems.
