Leason Ellis filed a patent infringement and trade dress infringement lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on behalf of a Taiwanese manufacturer of shoe insoles against Dollar Tree, Inc. and Family Dollar Stores, Inc. After filing a motion to strike the Defendants’ Answer which was untimely and filed without leave of the Court, the parties entered into a confidential settlement agreement.
Leason Ellis partners Yuval Marcus and Matthew Kaufman worked on this case with associate Lori Cooper. See Fusco Industrial Corporation v. Dollar Tree, Inc., et al., Case 2:20-cv-00058-JRG-RSP.
