Vera Glonina is an associate at Leason Ellis, where she focuses on assisting clients through the various phases of intellectual property counseling, litigation, and prosecution. Vera’s extensive international experience equips her to assist clients with complex trademark, trade secret, patent, copyright, data privacy, and advertising matters.
Her practice encompasses a diverse range of industries, including automotive, technology, healthcare, fitness, fashion, and various consumer goods.
Vera has experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including handling trademark opposition and cancellation actions. Vera enjoys the intellectual challenge of formulating legal arguments and contributing to the development of creative solutions that that best serve clients’ interests. Vera also actively participates in professional organizations including INTA, AIPLA, IAPP, NYIPLA, NYCBA and the Copyright Society. In particular, she serves as an Affiliate Member of the NYCBA Council on Intellectual Property. Vera was recognized as a Rising Star 2024-2025 by International Trademark Association.
Vera has received her J.D. degree at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. She also received her Master of Laws (LL.M) degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Law (High Honors).
Vera’s educational background also includes her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from Lomonosov Moscow State University, School of Law. Vera is admitted to practice law in Russia and has experience in handling complex intellectual property matters in Eurasia.
Vera is a Certified Informational Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
