2009 年 12 月 01 日Peter Sloane Secures Victory for Novartis in Trademark Opposition
Peter Sloane represented Novartis AG in a win against Cera Products, Inc. in an opposition before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Novartis, owner of the well-known THERAFLU cold and cough preparations, opposed registration of the mark CERAFLU for an oral hydration powdered nutritional supplement. In upholding the opposition and denying the registration, the Board held that the mark CERAFLU is confusingly similar with the mark THERAFLU, which the Board found to be a “distinctive, strong and famous mark.” The decision is available at the following web page:
