Lauren Emerson Visits Japan as Part of AIPLA Delegation

Leason Ellis Partner Lauren Emerson was in Japan last week as part of an American Intellectual Property Law Association delegation. In a jam packed week, the delegation met with the Japan Intellectual Property Association, the AIPPI, the LES, the Japan Trademark Association, the Japan Patent Office, judges of the IP High Court, and the Japan Patent Office, where Lauren had the honor of addressing the Director General of Trademark and Customer Relations and other trademark officials on the subject of the USPTO’s new trademark application fees.
