DR. SUSIE CHENG A SPEAKER ON IP LAW AT MEETING OF CHINESE ASSOCIATIONS

Dr. Susie Cheng was a speaker at a joint meeting between the Chinese Association for Science and Technology-USA (SAPA-USA) and the Chinese-American Professors Association in Connecticut (CAPA-Connecticut) at Yale University on August 15, 2015.  The title of her presentation was “Intellectual Property – What You Can and Cannot Take and the Road to a Win-Win Solution.”  The presentation focused on how academic and industrial scientists can steer clear of legal liabilities arising from conflicts of interest and how knowing the policies and agreements that govern their relationships is a win-win solution in avoiding legal conflicts in startups and in industry.
