梅尔文·加纳（Melvin Garner）是Leason Ellis专利实务与诉讼实务组的一名合伙人，负责领导事务所的日本实务团队。 梅尔文致力于为在美国开展业务活动的个人和公司提供支持，帮助他们获取专利并管理专利组合。 他能够在可专利性和专利侵权方面提供意见， 并代表客户参与专利和商业机密诉讼。 此外，梅尔文还能够帮助日本和中国公司申请美国专利并在美国专利诉讼中为他们辩护。 梅尔文服务的国内外客户来自各行各业，包括超声检测、照明、医用设备、汽车、机床、化工及高校科研。 梅尔文有兴趣了解客户面临的问题并为其提供高效的解决方案。
目前他已在超过20个案件中担任专家证人。 他撰写过很多文章，也是执业律师学会（Practicing Law Institute）讲座活动的常客。 梅尔文是纽约知识产权法协会（New York Intellectual Property Law Association）和美国知识产权法协会（American Intellectual Property Law Association）的前会长。 他目前是威廉康纳律师学院（Hon. William C.
