Howard I. Grossman

Associate

Howard Grossman has extensive experience in all phases of patent preparation, prosecution, post-grant proceedings and related patent strategy counseling.  His experience has encompassed a wide range of technical subject matter including telecommunications, semiconductors, computer software and networking, and automotive technology.  He has a particular interest in artificial intelligence and specifically machine learning technology, and is currently pursuing a nanodegree certification in machine learning.

Howard has handled all aspects of domestic and foreign patent prosecution including drafting applications, preparing office action responses, and conducting appeals and reexaminations.  His practice also includes conducting patent and validity analyses, freedom-to-operate studies, and preparing opinions. Howard received his J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University. Prior to joining Leason Ellis, Howard was a staff attorney at Day Pitney as well as an associate at Kenyon & Kenyon.
