On Thursday, April 16, Partner Jordan Garner teamed up with Leason Ellis alum Deirdre Clarke at the 135th U.S. IPG Seminar, hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and NYIPLA. The pair addressed “Navigating AI Tools in U.S. Patent and Trademark IP Prosecution” to an audience of Japanese IP specialists from the tristate region. Jordan’s program delivered a practical overview of how AI tools are shaping U.S. patent practice, while Deirdre shared in-house counsel insights on the growing impact of AI tools on trademark practice. The event was coordinated by Patent Agent Mitsu Haraguchi.
